Key Responsibilities

Operate and drive trucks to transport goods over long and short distances.
Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries while following traffic laws and regulations.
Inspect and maintain vehicle conditions, reporting any issues or necessary repairs.
Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper handling of goods.
Keep accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and deliveries.
Communicate with dispatchers and clients to ensure smooth transportation operations.

Job Requirements

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) and clean driving record.
Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in freight transportation.
Ability to operate GPS systems and follow route planning instructions.
Strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
Physical stamina to handle long hours of driving and occasional heavy lifting.

Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong focus on safety and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with dispatch.
Problem-solving skills for handling unexpected road or mechanical issues.
Professional and courteous attitude when dealing with clients and colleagues.
