Key Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for tiling, including cleaning, leveling, and priming.
Cut and shape tiles to fit areas, using appropriate tools.
Lay tiles according to design plans, ensuring proper alignment and spacing.
Apply grout and sealants to tiles, ensuring durability and a smooth finish.
Maintain tiling equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Ensure that all work adheres to safety regulations and quality standards.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a tiler or in a similar role.
Knowledge of tiling techniques, materials, and tools.
Ability to read and interpret tiling plans and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
Physical stamina to carry out demanding tasks.

Competencies

Strong problem-solving skills, particularly when working with difficult layouts or surface challenges.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Good communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues effectively.
Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization on-site.
Understanding of health and safety regulations related to tiling work.
