Cleaning and sanitizing transport equipment after each use helps maintain hygiene standards. Additionally, they report any patient concerns, safety hazards, or maintenance needs, contributing to a well-functioning healthcare environment.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (certification in patient transport or healthcare preferred).
- Previous experience in a healthcare or patient care environment is beneficial.
- Ability to lift and move patients with respect to safety guidelines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients and staff.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency or stressful situations.
- Physical stamina to transport patients throughout the shift.
