About the job

As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting products from inventory to fulfill customer orders. You will ensure that orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment, helping to maintain an organized and productive warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

Retrieve products from storage according to order specifications.
Ensure the accuracy and quality of picked items before packing.
Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely.
Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring proper storage of products.
Pack and label items for shipping, ensuring proper documentation and labeling.
Assist in regular stocktaking and inventory audits.

Job Requirements

Previous experience in warehouse or order picking roles is an advantage.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely and efficiently.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Competencies

Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Good communication skills for coordinating with warehouse team members.
Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
Efficient problem-solving skills when discrepancies occur.
Focus on safety and maintaining a clean working environment.
