Key Responsibilities

Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or manual methods.
Ensure all dishes and kitchenware are properly sanitized and stored in their designated places.
Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized, ensuring all surfaces are wiped down regularly.
Assist kitchen staff with cleaning and organizing food prep areas and equipment.
Dispose of trash and recycling as required and maintain cleanliness in waste areas.
Report any broken or damaged equipment to the kitchen manager or supervisor.

Job Requirements

Previous experience in a dishwasher or kitchen support role is preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Knowledge of basic health and safety standards related to kitchen cleanliness.

Competencies

Strong work ethic with a focus on maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate with other kitchen staff.
Good communication skills to coordinate with kitchen and cleaning teams.
