About the job

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to customers in a safe and timely manner. You will ensure that deliveries are made according to schedule, while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and vehicle safety.

Key Responsibilities

Drive delivery vehicles to transport goods to customer locations.
Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure on-time deliveries.
Load and unload goods, ensuring they are handled safely and securely.
Verify delivery orders, ensuring accuracy of items delivered.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or issues during the delivery process.
Maintain and clean delivery vehicle, ensuring it remains in safe working condition.

Job Requirements

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
Ability to lift and move heavy packages.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries.
Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.

Competencies

Strong communication skills, particularly with customers.
Good problem-solving abilities to handle route or delivery issues.
Ability to work independently while following company guidelines.
Knowledge of traffic laws and road safety regulations.
High level of reliability and punctuality.
